Is your iCal icon stuck in the past? iConiCal is a utility for setting iCal's icon and dock icon to show the current date in a choice of colours, even when iCal is closed. iConiCal works on OSX 10.2 or later (but not 10.6 or later).

The latest release is iConiCal v1.9.3, updated on 26 January 2011. This release confirms when launched that it is not compatible with Mac OS 10.6 and later (due to changes to iCal design in Snow Leopard). There are no other alterations on other systems.

Note - it is necessary to run iConiCal daily to keep the date correct in 10.2 - 10.4. It is recommended that 10.2 - 10.4 users allow iConiCal to launch at login, and at set intervals to keep the iCal icon up to date. To restore iCal's icon to the default icon, press the relevant button within iConiCal's settings area.
